I switched to LiteSpeed a long time ago, that why I did not add any new Apache tutorials.
But maybe I will add a LiteSpeed hardening and tuning one soon.
If you want LiteSpeed to be secure, use it in combination with CloudLinux.

In regards to further securing Apache, have you considers swapping Apache out with the LiteSpeed webserver? I’ve read that LiteSpeed’s PHP implementation is more secure than Apache + PHP and LiteSpeed apparently is nearly twice as fast as Apache as well.

Now, I must admit that I still use Apache. However, LiteSpeed is definitely on my list to do some testing on and potentially roll out on to my servers. It really seems like a viable alternative, better on security and potentially the most important is that it could possibly double the performance capacity of your webserver.
